Dance With The Clearcut
The first year of a clearcut on a favorite logging road is always hard. And then spring comes, and all of the seeds that can't sprout in a forest, find their way to good soil and sunlight (how do they do that?), and the next summer, and the one after that, and the few after that until the trees are again too big to let the sunlight in, this happens.

The touch of blue at the top is my shoes.  I probably should have noticed I was in the picture at the time, but in retrospect, I'm going to claim it Intentional.
